National Day of Ecuador

Ecuador, officially the Republic of Ecuador, is a country in western South America, bordering the Pacific Ocean at the Equator, between Colombia and Peru. The Spanish name is República del Ecuador, which literally means "Republic of the equator". Its capital, Quito, once a part of the Inca empire.
